Prayer and devotion are intimate practices that connect individuals to a higher power, offering solace and strength in times of need. They cultivate a deep sense of faith and purpose, guiding the heart and mind toward peace and spiritual fulfillment
We are actively encouraging our members to write to their MP expressing concerns about the lack of adequate support for RE in schools and the Government’s recruitment targets for specialist RE teachers in secondary education is not being met. The subject knowledge enhancement (SKE) courses in secondary education for RE is no longer funded by the government although the funding exists for other SKE. courses in Maths, Physics, Languages, Biology, Chemistry, Computing, English, Geography and Design and Technology. RE has been excluded from the EBacc even though the humanities of Geography and History are included.
